#B2BCyCon Stop #4

You barely escape the creeking as you close the door behind you. You seem to be safe… for now. You lean against the door and take in a deep breath of relief. Upon opening your eyes, your mouth drops open and you take in the site of the magnificent library before you. You expand your arms, gasp, and exclaim, “My friends!” to the books surrounding you. You don’t wait (why would you wait?) You extend your arms and proclaim, “My friends!” After forgetting for a moment what you are there for, you run to the nearest book shelf and begin raiding the selection!

There still is magic in this world and I have found it. Below the roots of Yggdrasil, beyond the depths of Under Earth it is there…if only you dare to see.

“Find everything okay?” You turn startled to find Bergen too casually leaning against a door frame at the other end of the room. “Relax,” he says. “I won’t hurt you.”

You almost say, “As if you could,” but notice the black great sword secured to his back. A strange gold light emanates from what appears to be cracks in the blade. You decide to alter your question. “What the hell is going on?” you ask, and Bergen chuckles.

“Angela and I got into a bit of a spat a while back. She insisted she was my author and I cordially disagreed. She didn’t take the news too well, so… I stole her blog. We’ve been fighting ever since.”

“Wait,” you stop to ponder these circumstances. “You’re Angela’s character?”

“Was,” Bergen continues. “I didn’t like the way she was telling my story so I quit.”

“You quit.”

“Yep.”

“Where are we?” you ask.

“These are the archives of Angela’s imagination.”

“How can I trust you?”

Without a word, Bergen uses his foot to pull out a chest. “Open it up,” Bergen says (Click on the chest to open it).

“Do you trust me now?” says Bergen. You say nothing as Bergen straightens himself. “Come on. We’ve lingered too long.”

“But… but… but…”

“What?”

“Booooks,” you whine. “I’m going to stay and read.”

“There isn’t time. She’ll be here any minute.”

“But—”

“I’ll get you more later. Let’s go—”

But a familiar laugh cuts you off.
